What is Signage? Signage is a collective use of a graphic display with the intent to relay information to the audience at the right and appropriate time.
Almost everyone comes across the banners and hoardings on the roadside conveying a message to the audience. The use of signs and symbols to communicate a message is referred to as Signage. These graphic displays are intended to communicate and advertise the product and services.
Usually, such types of signs are manifested in the form of wayfinding information in the streets or in the interior of a building. Signs may vary in the form of size, expensive banners, billboards, murals, sandwich boards, lawn signs, etc. It tends to serve common purposes, i.e., to promote, identify, provide information, explain directions and raise safety awareness.
Alternatively, signage is designed to persuade people of the advantages that the products and services display. It is common consumer behaviour to believe in what is at their disposal or what can be seen. Signage conveys enticing information to the receiver about a particular product or service and induces them to buy it.
